Solar and wind intermittency in power plants can cause instabilities throughout the entire electrical system and local grid. Recent technological solutions point to the integrated use of wind and solar plants in the same location. This project aims to contribute to a smarter integration of the national energy system that is better suited to local characteristics, based on wind energy integrated with other energy conversion processes. Equipment and systems are introduced that represent an innovative alternative for improving the quality, efficiency, and reliability of the electrical power generation system. The project is an excellent opportunity for implementing a platform to develop solutions for the improvement of intelligent and integrated operation, supervision, and control, making the best emerging technologies available.
