About
We conduct energy studies of hydroelectric plants for various stages, from inventory studies to basic design, according to guidelines recommended by ANEEL, as well as in specific evaluations for acquisition processes (due diligence). With cost information for alternatives, provided by the engineering project managers or generated in estimates carried out with the HERA tools, comparative studies are performed to define the basic characteristics of the plants, such as the powerhouse’s motorization and the reservoir’s operational water levels.
What we do
Verification of the series of inflows to the power plants
Verification of the consistency of historical records and hydrological studies conducted, through analysis of hydrographic stations and watersheds used for regionalization, verification of any consumptive water uses in the basins.
Analysis of future power plant generation
Probabilistic assessment of future hydroelectric power plant generation and simulation of Physical Guarantee review mechanisms using daily flow time series, ensuring accurate estimates without overestimating production during spill periods.
Energy studies
Energy studies based on flow scenarios converted into power using each plant’s production coefficient, considering the specific technical parameters of each plant (net hydraulic head, turbine and generator efficiency, equipment interruptions, electrical losses, domestic consumption, among others).
