Since 2015, he has led a research and development group at PSR for software based on numerical methods. He also researches advanced methodologies in stochastic optimization, equilibrium models, and reinforcement learning for large-scale applications in energy markets. He works as a developer of new computational systems for detailed operational planning, such as New Genesys, used in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. He is also a developer and instructor of PSR models such as SDDP, OptFlow, OptGen, and Coral.
